Lessons · from age 6
Recorder Lessons in Dresden.
The recorder is small, light and always at hand – and it sounds far more versatile than most people think: bright and clear, warm and soft, or virtuosic as in baroque music.
In recorder lessons at TS | Talent School in Dresden, you learn step by step how breath, fingers and rhythm work together – and learn to read music along the way.
For children it is an ideal first step into music and good preparation for flute, clarinet or saxophone. Adults and returners discover it as an instrument in its own right with a large repertoire.

How it works
How your recorder lessons work at our school.
From your first lesson to your own style – step by step and at your own pace.
Your first lessons
Calm breathing, soft blowing and the first fingerings with your left hand: B, A and G. With these you will play your first little songs after a short time.
Over time
Your right hand joins in, later half-covered holes for the high notes. You learn to read notes and rhythms and play pieces from baroque to film music.
For children and adults
Children usually start on the soprano recorder. Adults also discover the alto or tenor recorder with its warmer, deeper sound.
Practising at home
Ten minutes every day is better than one hour once a week.
