Lessons · from age 6
Drum Lessons in Dresden.
On the drums you set the beat: you decide tempo, energy and groove – and hold a whole band together.
In drum lessons at TS | Talent School in Dresden, you train timing and the coordination of hands and feet. From your first beats you move on to fills, rudiments and whole songs.
Rock, pop, funk, metal or jazz: you play to music that excites you. Children can start from around age 6, as soon as they can reach the pedals comfortably, and adults of any age.

How it works
How your drum lessons work at our school.
From your first lesson to your own style – step by step and at your own pace.
Your first lessons
Holding the sticks, moving hands and feet independently and your first rock beat with bass drum, snare and hi-hat. With that you can already play along to your first songs.
Over time
Rudiments such as the paradiddle and flam, fills, eighth- and sixteenth-note grooves and reading drum notation. Stylistically we range from rock and pop to funk and jazz.
For children and adults
Children can start as soon as their feet reach the pedals comfortably. Adults often get into it through their favourite songs and soon play along to whole pieces.
Practising at home
To begin with, a practice pad and a metronome are enough at home – later perhaps an electronic drum kit with headphones.
