Lessons · from age 6
Bass Lessons in Dresden.
Without bass, every band sounds thin: it connects the drums with the harmony and makes a song groove and move. In bass lessons at TS | Talent School in Dresden, you learn to lay that foundation yourself.
From the very start you play along to real songs – rock, pop, funk, soul or jazz. Along the way you develop solid timing and a good ear for what a song needs and when less is more.
Whether you want to play in a band or simply love low notes: we guide you personally and at your own pace – from your first groove to your own basslines.

How it works
How your bass lessons work at our school.
From your first lesson to your own style – step by step and at your own pace.
Your first lessons
Posture, plucking with two fingers or a pick, and your first root notes. With just a few notes on the E and A strings you can already play the bassline to simple rock and pop songs.
Over time
Scales, eighth- and sixteenth-note grooves, walking bass and first slap techniques. You learn to read tabs and notation and to invent your own basslines over chord progressions.
For children and adults
For children there are short-scale basses that fit smaller hands better. Adults often start with their favourite songs and soon play along in a band.
Practising at home
Practise with a metronome or a drum loop – on bass, timing matters more than any fast note.
