How it works
How your guitar lessons work at our school.
From your first lesson to your own style – step by step and at your own pace.
Your first lessons
Posture, picking and your first chords such as G, C, D and Em. With these you can already accompany many songs – plus simple strumming patterns and smooth chord changes.
Over time
Barre chords, picking patterns and fingerstyle, tabs and notation, riffs and first solos. Acoustic, electric or classical guitar: style and pace are up to you.
For children and adults
For children there are smaller guitars such as 1/2 or 3/4 size, so hand and instrument fit together. Adults often start with their favourite songs.
Practising at home
In the first weeks your fingertips will hurt a little – that passes quickly. Short daily sessions help most.
